This is a break from the standard content of this blog, but there has been a terror alert at Tokyo station issued after a user on the Japanese site 2ch wrote a message threatening a mass attack.

My hasty translation:

On 28th July 2011 21:05 on the Internet messaging board 2channel, a message was posted saying “I’m going to kill huge amount of people at Tokyo Station at 29th July 2011 17:30. I will absolutely do this.” Everybody should take care if you have plans to be at Tokyo Station on July 29th at 17:30.

Take care people.
