Hacker News Tokyo Japan Meetup #11 – 2nd March 2012

At MakeLeaps, in addition to creating small business software, we also organise events catering to the Hacker News community (run by Y Combinator, an entry-stage Venture Capital firm based out of San Francisco).

These Tokyo events are popular with people interested in business and technology, local small business owners, startup founders, and people thinking of building startups.

If you’d like to come to this event, please make sure you’re registered on Hacker News, and follow the below instructions. This time we also have limited attendance, so please confirm early.

We’re pleased to announce we’re organising another HN Tokyo Meetup on the 2nd of March, 2012.

Registration

This event will follow a similar un-structured, ‘mixer’ format as the last one. As before, If you’d like to come along, please:

  1. register at http://hntokyo.doorkeeper.jp/, including a 1 sentence profile on yourself, and your HN username.

You will then receive information about the venue and time.

PLEASE NOTE : The act of registering does not guarantee a place at the HN event, as we have limited space. Please await email confirmation of your registration.

Future Events

If you would like to be notified of future HN events, please monitor this blog, #hntokyo, and @MakeLeaps.

Time

The event will be from 6pm to 9pm, with an after-party at a local bar.

Food and Drinks

We will also be organising a caterer to provide everyone with food and drinks.

Make Sure To Register

We don’t want to have to turn away people who have not registered, so if you’re a Hacker News reader and you would like to come, please make certain you’ve followed the above instructions and booked in advance.

Please only register if you’re certain you are coming. We order food and drinks based on the number of registered people.

There will be a 2,500 yen fee to cover the food and drinks.

See you there!
